About our tenancy agreement (AST)

Property Hawk's Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement (AST) was written for us by Fidler & Pepper Solicitors, who have many years specialising in Residential Landlord and Tenant Law.

Rebecca Brough is a Solicitor at Fidler and Pepper who deals with Residential Landlords on a daily basis. Rebecca regularly features on our blog offering advice and she also offers landlords requiring legal help a free initial consultation.

Landlords should be warned there are a number of suspect FREE tenancy agreements available from the Internet. Many of these FREE tenancy agreements have not been prepared by a solicitor. If a landlord is not confident in the quality of the tenancy agreement, our advice to landlords is not to use them.

If a tenancy agreement is not correctly constructed and a tenant issue occurs, the tenancy agreement may not legally be worth the paper it's written on.

Our tenancy agreement can be used by landlords in England and Wales.

Alongside our tenancy agreements landlords can create and download the various prescribed information forms required alongside the tenancy agreement.
